The Timber Tales Giving Project
The hope of this project is to reach children in need through the donation of a book, a stuffed companion, and needed essential items. It seeks to foster a feeling of connection in children to the natural world, while raising awareness of a threatened and often misunderstood species. At its core, the project is about offering care, encouragement, and a sense of connection during times of hardship.
The Timber Tales Giving Project aims to provide care packages to children who may be facing challenges such as illness, family hardship, displacement, or other difficult circumstances. Each package wild include a wolverine stuffed animal, a copy of The Lonely Wolverine book, and, when possible, a few additional comfort items.
If you know a child who could benefit from receiving one of these packages, you are invited to submit a nomination. To protect privacy and ensure a safe process, we only ask for minimal, non-sensitive information such as: the child’s first name or initials, age range, and a brief description of why they are being nominated. Please do not include last names, addresses, or personal identifying details.
Because the number of available packages is currently limited, not all nominations may be selected. However, every submission is read with care and deep appreciation and the hope is to expand this project as time goes on. If you would like to make a donation towards the continued efforts of this project, please feel free to do so through the link below.
If a child is chosen, follow-up will be handled privately to coordinate delivery in a thoughtful and appropriate way.
Thank you for helping us share comfort, kindness, and a connection to the natural world.
This project was greatly aided by a generous donation of wolverine stuffed animals from Wild Republic™
